ASUU Extends Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has extended its ongoing strike for another 12 weeks.

A statement signed by ASUU President, Emmanuel Osodeke disclosed that the roll-over strike takes effect from May 9, 2021.

The statement noted that this was to give the government enough time to satisfactorily resolve all the outstanding issues.

Uzodinma to Reveal Sponsors of Insecurity in Imo

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has said he will reveal the sponsors of killings in the State. While speaking with newsmen in Lagos State, Uzodinma said the state government has identified the politicians behind insecurity in the state. The Governor who maintained that Politicians against the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, are behind the killings and maiming in the state.
