NCDC alerts health workers on Lassa fever outbreak

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has said 22 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory have reported 751 confirmed cases of Lassa fever in 2022.

The NCDC noted that 140 deaths have been reported.

The Centre, however, appealed to health workers to maintain a high index of suspicion for the disease.
