The Apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has ruled out the possibility of accepting a vice presidential slot.
President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, George Obiozor, made this known at the ongoing Imeobi of Ohanaeze meeting.
Obiozor warned that no Easterner should be little himself with the position of the Vice President in 2023.
The President added that the body has made contacts with several Nigerian leaders with respect to South East producing the next president for Nigeria.
President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Ebonyi State for a two-day official visit. A statement issued by the state government revealed that Buhari will inaugurate adjourning roads, flyover and the newly constructed presidential lounge in Abakaliki, the state capital. The statement added that the president is expected to inaugurate the ultra-modern international shopping mall, facilities at the newly constructed government house.
