Buhari Commends Gutteres Over Visit

President Muhammadu Buhari, has said the maiden visit of the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, is a proof that the world has not forgotten Nigeria.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, Buhari.

The statement noted that Nigeria remained grateful to the UN and some world leaders for their steadfast partnership in fighting terrorism.

It assured the UN Secretary-General of the government’s commitment towards ensuring that citizens return to their farms and businesses.
