The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has called for collaboration from the United Kingdom’s Parliament in area of insecurity, parliamentary diplomacy and economic prosperity in Nigeria.
Gbajabiamila made the call when he paid a visit to the Speaker of the UK’s House of Commons, Lindsay Hoyle, in Westminster on Tuesday.
The Speaker, who believed Nigeria remains a key player in global affairs, added that Nigeria and the UK have a rich history between them.
Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong has indicated his interest to run for Plateau South Senatorial election in 2023. Lalong obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms at the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Abuja.
