The United States has imposed sanction on a Russian commercial bank and a virtual currency mining company.
A statement issued by the US Department of Treasury said it put sanctions on Russian commercial bank whose representatives have suggested options to evade international sanctions.
The statement noted that Washington targeted a global network of more than 40 people and entities, including organizations whose primary mission is to facilitate sanctions evasion for Russian entities.
It warned that the US was committed to ensuring that no asset becomes a mechanism for Russian President Vladimir Putin to offset the impact of sanctions.
American rapper, ASAP Rocky, has been arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department in connection with a shooting that occurred in November 2021. The Department announced that the rapper whose legal name is Rakim Meyers, was arrested for assault with a firearm. The rapper was returning from Barbados with his pregnant girlfriend, Rihanna when the arrest was made.
