Death toll from South Africa’s flood rises

The death toll from South Africa’s floods has climbed to 341.

Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Sihle Zikalala, said the level of devastation of human life, infrastructure, and service delivery network in the province was unprecedented.

Zikalala added that a total number of 40,723 people have been affected.

On thursday helicopters fanned out across the southeastern city of Durban in an increasingly desperate search for survivors

Ngige appeals to ASUU to call of strike
