Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has urged Nigerians to emulate the virtues of love and sacrifice that characterized the life of Jesus Christ.
This was contained in a statement issued by his media office to mark the Easter celebration.
According to the statement, the two principal qualities of love and sacrifice is essential to the unity that Nigeria desperately needs at this moment.
It urged Christians to reflect deeply on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and his victory over death.
The Senate has received the Money Laundering Bill and Terrorism Prevention Bill transmitted by the President Muhammadu Buhari. In a letter Buhari said the request for the passage of the bills was pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(2) of the 1999 Constitution as amended.
