NRC Confirms Safety of More Passengers

The Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC, has confirmed the safety of 14 more passengers on board the attacked Abuja-Kaduna train, bringing the total safe passengers to 186.

This was contained in a statement issued by NRC’s Managing Director, Fidet Okhiria, and made available to newsmen.

The statement noted that out f the 362 validated passengers on board the attacked train, 186 persons on the manifest are confirmed to be safe and at their various homes.

It expressed gratitude to security agencies for their efforts so far, assuring that the Corporation will continue to update the public of developments to prevent misleading information and falsehood.
