INEC Assures of Credible Elections in Ekiti and Osun

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has assured that votes would count in the forth coming governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun states.

INEC’s National Commissioner in charge of Information, Voter Education and Publicity, Festus Okoye, said preparations were on to deliver free, fair, transparent and inclusive elections in the states.

Okoye stressed that the new Electoral Act 2022 would strengthen the commission to conduct a credible election.

Soludo Offers Amnesty to Agitators

Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo has said his administration is offering amnesty to agitators in the State. Soludo urged agitators to come out, and surrender their arms, assuring that proper training will be given to them in whatever skills. The governor assured that the state government will raise resources to empower them to become useful partners in the development of society.
