Ayade Constitutes Verification Committee for Payment of Retirees

Cross River State Governor, Bene Ayade has constituted a nine-member committee to verify retirees due for gratuities.
Inaugurating the committee on behalf of Governor Ayade, the State Head of Service, Timothy Akwaji, charged the Committee to place integrity and transparency as top priorities.

Akwaji noted that the state governor had released the sum of N200 million to commence payment of gratuities to retirees in the state last week.

He added that the money was a demonstration of the state government’s commitment to the plight of senior citizens who had served the state meritoriously.
