Kwara Governor urges Muslims to pray for Nigeria

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has urged Muslims to pray for the state and Nigeria as this year’s Ramadan begins today.
A statement issued by his spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye, congratulated Muslims worldwide on the dawn of another Ramadan fast.
The statement described Ramadan as a new opportunity to get closer to the creator through fasting, alms-giving, and seeking forgiveness.
It noted that the fasting month is always a lifetime chance for the Muslims to take advantage of God’s abundant mercies to forgive sins and answer prayers.
