Kaduna state chapter of the Nigeria Labor Congress, NLC, has condoled the Trade Union Congress, TUC, over the death of its Secretary General, Musa Ozigi and the Chairman Kwara State, Akinsola Akinwunmi during the Abuja-Kaduna train attack.
NLC State Chairperson, Ayuba Suleiman, described the killings as barbaric and ridiculous.
Suleiman commended security agencies for their prompt action during the attack, stressing that efforts should be put in place to address the reoccurrence of such ugly act.
The Chairperson extended condolences to the government of Kaduna State and the families of those who lost their loved ones during the attack.
Kwara State Government has refuted claims that it has borrowed N93bn over the last three years. A statement signed by the Commissioner for Communications, Bode Towoju, described the claim by a member of the state house of Assembly, as false and totally out of line. The statement urged the people of the state to beware of rumor mongers, springing up poorly-calculated mischief in a bid to mislead the populace.
