Cross River State Commissioner gets Federal Government Appointment

Cross River State Commissioner for Health and Chairman, Nigeria Health Commissioners Forum, Betta Edu has been named among 30 others to represent National Council on Health in health sector reform committee.

This was disclosed by the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu on Monday in Abuja.

President Muhammandu Buhari who approved the Health Sector Reform Committee announced the Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo as the Chairman of the Special Task Committee.

The committee will work for a period of 6 months with members drawn from private and public sectors, healthcare management professionals as well Nigerian governors forum among others.
