NYSC makes new appointment

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced the appointment of Eddy Megwa as its Director of Press and Public Relations. A statement issued by NYSC Deputy Director of Press and Public Relations, Emeka Mgbemena, revealed that Megwa joined the organization in 1990 as Information Officer, after the mandatory one year service to the nation. The statement added that before his appointment, he was the NYSC coordinator in Lagos State.

Mali’s former President, Ibrahim Keita has died. This was disclosed by his family on Sunday. According to the family, the cause of death has not been specified. It added that Keita died at the age of 76. Keita led the West African country from 2013 until he was removed in a coup in 2020.
