Yobe State Governor, Mai Buni has offered automatic employment to the two Sons of the late Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Aisami who was killed last Friday. Buni gave the directive when members of the family visited him to express their gratitude for his personal concern for the family. The Governor assured that government will ensure investigation of the circumstances surrounding the death of the Cleric.

Lagos State Police Command has arrested a Civil Engineer handling a project where a water tank fell and killed two persons and injured one in the State. Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest on Tuesday. According to Hundeyin, the Engineer is in custody while undergoing investigation is on-going. The PPRO advised members of the Public against the use of unqualified Engineers.

Workers of the Nigerian Postal Service, NIPOST, in Uzoagba Community in Ikeduru local government area of Imo state have decried negligence from the government. Postmaster of the Service, Felicia Akalonu, made this known during Boss Radio Rural Assessment in the community. Akalonu outlines some of the services provided by NIPOST. The Post Master appeals to the government to provide the essential amenities needed for the Service.

Imo State Police Command has advised the public to report any form of harassment by police officers to the command. The Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mike Abattam, gave the advice in a telephone interview with Boss Radio News. Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has inaugurated the State-Local Government Joint Accounts Committee. A statement issued by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime, revealed that the state government would set up the local government administration that would address the challenges in that layer of government. Cross Rivers State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has impounded 16,000 liters of stolen petroleum products in the state.
