Federal Government Yet to Restrict Travelers Amid Omicron Variant

The Federal Government says there are no plans to restrict foreigners from traveling into Nigeria amid the Omicron variant. Health Minister, Osagie Ehanire, stated this during an interview with newsmen on Sunday in Abuja. Ehanire described as unfortunate the knee-jerk reaction of some countries to the Omicron strain. The Minister calls for collaboration with other countries to fight the Virus rather than shutting their borders.
