China reports highest jump of Covid 19 hospitalization

China reported a large jump in COVID-19 hospitalizations in the week through to January 15. This is according to a report released by the World Health Organization. According to the report, the number of people hospitalised with the disease in China rose by 70 % to 63,307 versus the previous week. This is the highest weekly figure China has reported since COVID-19 first emerged more than three years ago.
