Federal government eases limitation on religious gathering

The Federal Government has eased the limitation on religious gatherings and other events in Nigeria.

This was contained in a document issued by the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19.

The document revealed though the limitation on the number of persons attending religious gatherings was lifted, attendees must use face masks.

It added that the COVID-19 rules were reviewed as a result of the declining number of cases and reduced risk of importation of new variants.
