Cross River State government has denied claims of unpaid salaries of workers and gratuities to pensioners in the state.

This was contained in a statement signed by the state’s Head of Service, Timothy Akwaji on Tuesday.

The statement noted that the reports were untrue and concocted to dent the good image of Governor Ben Ayade, adding that the state government is determined to address the concerns of workers and senior citizens of the state.

It urged persons with claims of being owed salaries and pensions to forward their compliants to the Head of Service for investigation and further action.
