Nigeria’s democracy favours only politicians, says cleric

The Publicity Secretary, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Emmah Isong, has said that Nigeria’s democracy has mainly favoured politicians.
Isong made the statement in an interview with Newsmen in Calabar on Thursday where he opined that the 25 years of uninterrupted democratic rule in the country had no remarkable positive impacts on the citizenry.
The PFN Publicity Secretary said that Nigerian politicians had used the reign of democratic rule to impoverish the masses and illegally enrich themselves while adding that the political leadership in the country had failed to prioritize service delivery.
