The Labour Party candidate for the 2023 presidential election , Peter Obi, has described the death of Nollywood actor, Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, as devastating.
He described Junior Pope as an energetic actor, who comically delivered entertainment and educated Nigerians.
Obi made the statement over a Post he made on his X handle, he said the deceased brought smiles to the faces of many through his roles in movies and comedy skits.
According to the former governor of Anambra state, his death is yet another great loss to the entertainment industry which has in recent years risen to become a most vibrant sector of the citizens social and economic life
