The Lagos State Police Command, has on Tuesday night, announced it had taken into custody controversial singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, in connection with the controversial death of his former record label signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.
The Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, said, Azeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities.
Earlier in a tweet on Tuesday night, Naira Marley announced his arrival in Lagos to assist in the ongoing probe into Mohbad’s death, while noting that he would be meeting with the police.
The West African Examinations Council has appointed Amos Josiah Dangut, as the Head of the Nigeria National Office. Dangut succeeds Patrick Areghan, whose tenure will be ending this month.
