Federal High Court to Observe Easter break

The Federal High Court will, on March 31, commence its Easter vacation.

A statement signed by the Court’s Assistant Director of Information, Catherine Oby-Christopher, said the vacation would last till April 17.

The statement added that the court would resume sitting on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, noting that the Abuja, Lagos and Port-Harcourt judicial divisions will remain open to the public only for cases of extreme urgency.

NPC Records Low Attendance during Trial Exercise

The National Population Commission, NPC, has recorded a low attendance during its trial exercise. Federal Commissioner of NPC in Edo State, Tony Aiyejina, disclosed this at a one-day capacity building workshop on effective reporting of the 2023 population and housing census held in Benin City. Aiyejina added that the trial period serves as a preparation for the organization, ahead of the national headcount schooled for March 29 – April 2.
