Senate Postpones Debate on Cash Withdrawal Limit

The Senate has postponed its debate on the cash withdrawal policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

According to a member of the Committee on Banking and Finance, Olubunmi Adetumbi, the debate was postponed to Wednesday, because of the absence of the Chairman of the Committee, Uba Sani.

Adetumbi assured the Senate that the report of the Committee on the withdrawal policy is ready.

British High Commission Assures INEC of Support

The British High Commission in Nigeria has said it is looking forward to witnessing free, fair and credible elections in Rivers state and other parts of the country. Political Counselor of the Commission in Abuja, Jonathan Bacon, disclosed this after he met Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.
