Edo Police Issue Warning to Cultists

Edo State Police Command has warned members of cult groups against disrupting the peace enjoyed by citizens of the state.

The State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Dankwara, gave the warning in a statement signed by the Command Spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor.

The statement revealed that the Command received intelligence reports of threats by secret cult members to resume hostility in the Ekosodin axis of Benin.

It called on parents and guardians to appeal to their children and wards to abstain from engaging in acts that would bring them in conflict with the law enforcement institutions.
