Edo state will host the National Kickboxing technical workshop at from November 6 to 10.
The Secretary General of the Kickboxing Federation of Nigeria, Olalekan Faseesin, revealed that the workshop is in conjunction with the state sports commission with support from the Federal ministry of youth & sports development.
Also Speaking, President of the KFN, Wilson Okon, commended the permanent secretary of the sports ministry, Ismaila Abubakar and the state government for the existing laudable efforts aimed at developing Kickboxing in Nigeria.
Nigerian singer, Patrick Okorie popularly known as Patoranking, has been selected to perform in Qatar ahead of the World Cup. Patoranking has been confirmed as one of the headliners at the FIFA fan festival in Qatar next month. The Nigerian singer will perform alongside Arab superstar - DJ Aseel as well as Egyptian singer Hassan Shakosh, at the World Cup event slated to kick off on November 20.
