House of Reps Intervenes in Dispute Between FG and Foreign Airlines

The House of Representatives has intervened in the ongoing dispute between Nigeria and foreign airlines over the controversial trapped funds belonging to the airlines.

In a meeting with representatives of International Air Transport Association, IATA, Airlines Operators of Nigeria, AON, the Speaker of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila, emphasized the need for all the parties involved to make a commitment to end the crisis.

The Speaker added that addressing the various issues raised by different stakeholders will help in restoring peace to the industry.
