House of Reps to Probe Federal Government Properties

The House of Representatives has commenced probe on federal government properties in Abuja.

The speaker of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila, declared the probe open during plenary session on Thursday.

According to the speaker, the investigation became imperative, due to a large number of abandoned and under-utilized government properties across the country.

The Speaker added that the abandoned properties if properly managed will be of immense benefit to the country.
