ASUU Accuses Federal Government of Frustrating Education

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has accused the Federal Government of depriving youths of access to qualitative education.

This Union made the accusation in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Muhammad Sani Gaya and Secretary, Murtala Muhammad Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil.

The statement noted that the body language of the federal government shows that it was out to destroy tertiary education.

It added that the use of hunger to coerce members of ASUU to suspend its indefinite strike has failed in the past and definitely will not yield any fruitful result now.
