The federal government has promised to ensure more resources are mobilized for the fight against Tuberculosis in the country.
Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, revealed that the commitment followed the visit from a high-level team on domestic resource mobilization.
Ehanire noted that a collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, the parliament, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation will immediately be set in motion to see that the needed funds to tackle the spread of Tuberculosis are generated locally.
Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has sworn in seven new commissioners and a deputy Chief of Staff. During the swearing in ceremony, Abiodun charged the new appointees to the utilize resources in their care. The Governor implored them to be accountable to the people, and ensure they remain connected to them as worthy ambassadors of the present administration’s policy of inclusiveness.
