FG Dismisses Report of Alleged Abandonment of Nigerians in UAE

The Federal Government has debunked reports alleging abandonment of stranded Nigerians in the United Arab Emirates, UAE.

A statement issued by the Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Francisca Omayuli, described the report as untrue and misleading.

The statement noted that the Ministry and the Nigerian Mission have been working diligently with UAE Authorities to assist over 300 Nigerians stranded in the Country.

It, however, appealed to Nigerians in the UAE to remain law abiding and avoid actions that would inflict untold hardship on them.
