Canada Donates Covid 19 Vaccines to Nigeria

Canadian government has donated 2,649,600 doses of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines to Nigeria.

Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Faisal Shuaib, stated that the donation was critical to helping Nigeria ramp up the vaccination rollout process.

Shuaib revealed that 40,700,979 of the eligible population have received the first dose while 28,659,698 persons have been fully vaccinated as of August 18.

The Director added that 2,666,830 of the fully vaccinated persons have received their booster doses.
