The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has debunked reports of shortage of passport booklets across the country.
Aregbesola dismissed the report at the commissioning of the passport production center in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital.
He described those peddling the news as unpatriotic Nigerians, noting that the ministry will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that passports are made available for Nigerians.
The Minister assured that the government was working to remove the bad eggs from the immigration service.
Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has urged residents to avoid any action that would cause crisis in the State. Ikpeazu implored people of the state not to trivialize the peace and security in the state, which allows them the privilege of exercising their rights without any hindrance. The governor assured that his administration will continue to uphold the principles of peace and harmony amongst all Abians.
