Court Convicts Baba Ijesha of Sexual Assault
An Ikeja Special Offences Court has convicted Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old minor. While delivering judgment, the presiding judge, Oluwatoyin Taiwo, convicted James of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault. Justice Taiwo, discharged and acquitted him of counts one and count six, which were sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
