Court Convicts Baba Ijesha of Sexual Assault

An Ikeja Special Offences Court has convicted Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old minor.

While delivering judgment, the presiding judge, Oluwatoyin Taiwo, convicted James of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault.

Justice Taiwo, discharged and acquitted him of counts one and count six, which were sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.

Spacey Pleads Not Guilty to Sexual Assault Charges

American Actor, Kevin Spacey has pleaded not guilty to four charges of sexual assault. Spacey pleaded not guilty to a fifth charge of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent. The judge granted Spacey unconditional bail, adding that a further hearing will take place earlier in 2023.
