INEC Assures Ekiti Residents of Credible Polls

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has reassured Ekiti State residents of its readiness to conduct a free, fair and credible governorship election.

INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman of Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, revealed that over 980,000 residents have been captured in the commission’s voters’ register.

Okoye stated that INEC has deployed more Bimodal Voter Accreditation System for the exercise compared to the number of polling units where the election will take place.

Pixar's new animated film 'Lightyear' is now streaming in Nigerian cinemas. Filmone Entertainment announced the film's Nigerian theatrical release on Friday. Expectedly, a censored version of the film will show across cinemas as Nigeria has maintained a zero tolerance policy for gay content. At least 14 predominantly Muslim countries in the Middle East have announced a complete ban of the film.
