Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi has suspended the State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Orlando Nweze over alleged inability to discharge his duties effectively.
A statement signed on Wednesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Kenneth Ugbala disclosed that the suspension is with immediate effect.
The statement directed Nweze to hand over all government property in his possession to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.
Recall that Nweze was among those not affected when Umahi dissolved the State Executive Council in 2021.
Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane, has received a three-year contract from Bayern Munich ahead of a proposed move from the Reds. This was disclosed in a tweet by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday. According to Romano, Mane reached the deal with Bayern Munich after agreeing to personal terms with the Bundesliga Champions.
