Okorocha Pleads not Guilty to Charges

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, before a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Okorocha, was arraigned before Justice Inyang Ekwo on Monday in Abuja.

He is being tried on a 17-count charge to the tune of N2.9 billion filed against him by the anti-graft agency.

The Former Governor pleaded not guilty to the charges it was were read to him.

Justice Ekwo, however, remanded him in the custody of EFCC to May 31 pending the determination of his bail application.
