Navy Rescues Kidnapped Victims in Rivers

The Nigerian Navy has rescued seven kidnapped victims who were taken hostage along Rivers/ Bayelsa waterways.

A statement issued on Tuesday by the Base Commander, NNS Pathfinder in Port Harcourt, Suleiman Ibrahim, disclosed that the abduction of the victims was masterminded by one Victor Padi.

The statement assured residents of the State who transit through the waterways of their safety, adding that the Nigerian Navy will continue to police the waterways to enable residents go about their legitimate businesses.
