The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has postponed the Screening of all the Presidential Aspirants scheduled to take place on Monday, May 23 indefinitely.
A statement issued on Sunday by the Party National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka disclosed that a new date for the Screening exercise would be announced by the Party.
The statement regrets any inconvenience caused by the postponement.
Imo State Chapter of People’s Democratic Party, PDP has suspended its primaries for the House of Assembly and House of Representatives indefinitely. A statement issued on Sunday by the State Legal Advisor of the Party, Kessinger Ikeokwu attributed the non-conduct of the Primaries to confusion caused by the National Assembly. According to the statement, the Party suspended the primaries over unreconciled delegates.
