Court orders release of Dagogo from custody

A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has ordered the immediate release of a Governorship Aspirant, Farah Dagogo of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State from Police custody.

In his ruling, the Presiding Judge, E. Obile ordered the State Commissioner of Police, Friday Eboka, to ensure the release of the applicant.

Realled that Dagogo who was accused of sponsoring cultism by the State Government had been in Police custody after he was arrested by Security Operatives in Port Harcourt.

Ebonyi Assembly approves Umahi’s loan request

Ebonyi State House of Assembly has approved an undisclosed amount as a loan request by the State Governor, David Umahi. Speaker of the House, Francis Nwifuru, announced the approval during plenary on Thursday.
