Nigerian Music Star, Olubankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W has officially joined the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.
Banky W was officially welcomed into the Party by former Senate President and Presidential Aspirant, Bukola Saraki on Tuesday.
According to Bank W, he joined the Party to pursue the seat of Eti-Osa Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives in 2023 election
The Singer who dumped the Modern Democratic Party contested for the same seat during the 2019 general election but was unable to pull through.
Enyimba FC Chairman, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, has been named among other Nigerians that will receive the Federal Government’s National Productivity Order of Merit Award for 2019 and 2020. Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige, in a letter issued to the Football Administrator, stated that the Award was being conferred on him based on his hard work, productivity and excellence.
