INEC declines extension of Primaries

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has said it will not extend the timeline for Party Primaries.

INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu made this known while speaking at a consultative meeting with Leaders of Political Parties in Abuja.

Recalled that Political Parties in the country had appealed to INEC to extend the timelines for the 2023 general elections by two months.
