Nigeria Labor Congress to move May Day Rally

The Nigerian Labor Congress, NLC, is set to move the 2022 Workers Day Rally till May 2 if the Eid-El- Fitr holiday, is announced for May 1.
A Circular signed by NLC General Secretary, Emmanuel Ugboaja, revealed that the Congress resolved to toe the path to avoid clash of celebrations.
The circular noted that if Sallah does not fall on Sunday, the May Day Celebration will take place on Sunday, May 1st, 2022.
It urged all state councils to abide by the decision of the Central Working Committee of the Congress, and pay close attention to the various NLC platforms for further information.
