The Department of State Services, DSS, has alerted members of the public on the need to always be at alert over planned renewed attacks by criminal elements.
DSS Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya, disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the service has uncovered a ploy by miscreants to forge an alliance.
It revealed that the ploy was to set attacks on critical infrastructure and other frequented public places during holidays and festive celebrations.
