Enyimba drop point at home, draw Tornadoes

Enyimba Football Club of Aba played a 1-1 draw with Niger Tornadoes FC in Aba in the Nigerian Professional Football League on Wednesday.

The Elephants started the match on a good note but the away team took the lead in the 41st minute with a goal by Joseph Godstime.

However, Chinedu Ufure equalised for Enyimba in the second half to leave scores at level.

The result marked the first point Enyimba has dropped at home this season.

In another development, Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia suffered a 3-0 defeat at Nasarawa United in Lafia.
