Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen missed Napoli’s first pre-season game on Tuesday due to fitness issues.
Napoli played local Italian side, Anaune Val Di Non, with Antonio Conte taking charge of his first game.
Osimhen was initially named on the bench when the team lists were announced, but it turned out he was in the stands.
The Nigerian has been working separately from the squad in training over the last few days due to fitness issues.
In his absence, Conte’s men cruised to a 4-nil victory, with Leonardo Spinazzola, Walid Cheddira, Gianluca Gaetano and Cyril Ngonge getting on the scoresheet.
Police operatives have arrested a crypto billionaire, Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord. He was arrested in Abuja on Tuesday following allegations of cryptocurrency fraud, terrorism funding, and aiding internet fraud, among others, against his companies. His arrest was disclosed by popular activist VeryDarkMan who claimed that Blord’s arrest followed his refusal to address complaints by some of his customers.
