Super Eagles To Face Benin, Rwanda, Libya In 2025 AFCON Qualifiers

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn into Group D for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
They will face Benin Republic, Libya, and Rwanda in their group.
Notably, Benin Republic, coached by former Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr, recently defeated Nigeria 2-1 in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The draw took place in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Thursday afternoon and the qualifiers are set to begin in September 2025 and will continue until November 2025.
The 2025 AFCON tournament will be held from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
