Echeta leaves Rivers United, seeks move elsewhere

Echeta Deputy has parted ways with Rivers United, the Nigeria Premier Football League club.
Echeta, who joined Rivers United at the beginning of the 2023-24 season from Bendel Insurance, decided to leave following a disagreement with the club’s management.
The discord reportedly began during an away match against Sunshine Stars and Despite scoring six goals last season, Echeta’s tenure with the club has ended.
He is now attracting interest from other NPFL clubs.
